Origin of Fake News

"Is this for real?" Often times people find themselves asking this. Then, the wheel of rumors starts to spin again. Before they know it, they have already been deceived by what the society calls- Fake News.

Fake news is a hoax propaganda that misleads information for the public. It usually comes from unauthorized online websites or printed materials. Fake news is said to be a neologism that consists of fabricated contents. It has been prevalent in our society since the 13th century BC. When it goes out of control, it can poison the minds of many people and 'cause them to do something malevolent.
